Vincenzo Pazzi is an industrial designer with over twenty-five years of experience in Italian design culture. Originally from Sicily, he moved to Milan in 1998, where he earned his degree in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano — a choice that marked the beginning of a professional career rooted in the Italian manufacturing tradition and in the formal research of Made in Italy.
In 2007 he founded Strapazzi Design Studio, through which he developed collaborations with Italian, Swiss and French brands in jewellery, watchmaking, furniture and luxury retail. Since 2013 he has pursued a personal artistic practice alongside his design work, with pieces in ink and acrylic on canvas shown in exhibitions and group shows. Since 2024 he has been teaching Furnishings and Made in Italy Design at IIS M. Fortuny-Moretto in Brescia, bringing professional experience into educational programmes.
Three distinct fields — design, teaching, art — sharing a single underlying tension: the pursuit of quality as method, not as outcome.
He moved to Milan from Sicily to enrol in the Industrial Design faculty at Politecnico di Milano. He began working as a freelancer during his university years, collaborating with architecture and design studios across the city.
The studio was established with a focus on Italian design culture: product design, commercial installations, 3D rendering and visual merchandising for the Italian and international luxury market. Collaborations with jewellery, watchmaking, furniture and retail brands in Italy, Switzerland and France.
He inaugurated a visual research practice alongside his studio work, working in ink and acrylic on canvas with an abstract and gestural language. Member of the NOIBRERA collective. Works exhibited in shows, prizes received, magazine cover.
He began teaching Furnishings and Made in Italy Design at Istituto di Istruzione Superiore M. Fortuny-Moretto in Brescia. He develops structured digital educational materials for students and teachers, with the aim of making design culture accessible and applicable.
